About MyTextCount

MyTextCount is a free online text utility website created to help people work with text easily, quickly, and safely.

My name is Masood Ahmad. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and later enrolled in MCS (Master of Computer Science), which I did not complete. My academic background, combined with hands-on programming experience, helped shape the foundation of this project.

I built MyTextCount using my programming knowledge, modern web technologies, and AI-assisted (vibe) coding as a productivity aid. AI was used to speed up development and testing, while all logic, structure, and decisions were carefully reviewed and implemented by me to ensure accuracy and reliability.

The purpose of MyTextCount is simple: provide fast, practical, and privacy-focused tools for writers, students, bloggers, SEO professionals, and anyone who regularly works with text. Many existing tools require logins, store user data, or are overloaded with distractions. This site was built to stay clean, simple, and useful.

All tools on MyTextCount work directly inside the browser. Your text is never uploaded to a server, never stored in a database, and never shared. You can safely use the tools for personal writing, academic work, or professional content.
